Curious about our course participants' experiences?

The Mindfulness for Life course is a gentle introduction to practicing mindfulness. Although I wasn’t able to attend every session, the moments I sat down for meditation — guided by Nhi Phạm — helped me to reconnect with the small wonders of life: sounds, colors, the in-breath and out-breath, a range of bodily sensations, and gentle movements of the body.
I feel truly happy and grateful for the opportunity to join this course with my team members. I hope more people will have the opportunity to explore this practice to cultivate their presence with life and to discover simple joys each day!
MBCT_L beautifully weaves together mindfulness practice and modern psychology, helping me notice and step out of unhelpful thought and behaviour patterns. These skills have been truly instrumental in my work as a business consultant, approaching and navigating the complexity and demand of the corporate world!
Since learning mindfulness and integrating it into my daily life, I’ve been able to tune in better with myself. It’s helped me become more aware of my body and better regulate my emotions, fostering greater balance in my work.
I’ve learned to be more receptive and less judgmental toward the thoughts and emotions within. This is an essential skill for a doctor to take care of themselves in a high-pressure work environment to extend care and support to patients.
Putting skills and practices from this course into use has helped improve the quality of my connections with those around me, especially with my mother.
The 8-week mindfulness course unfolds positive challenges. I found that developing a practice habit in the early stages is not easy. With support from the teacher and classmates, the practice gradually became more natural.
One of the things I appreciate most is that the skills and knowledge are highly scientific yet still relevant, making them easy to apply in my daily life.
The practices help me become more aware when in nature. I also appreciate how the teacher creates a learning experience that is not only fun and safe but also warm and welcoming.
The Mindfulness for Life course helped me realize something extremely important: while constantly striving to care for my family, friends, and prioritizing work, I had forgotten to take care of myself.
I have gained some skills in recognizing and working with strong emotions, which allow me to be less overwhelmed by negative feelings. I hope my loved ones have the opportunity to join this meaningful course.

Besides the leadership role at AMVN, Nhi is a pioneering Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) teacher from Vietnam and a certified Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness practitioner. She leads MBCT courses in Vietnamese and collaborates with international guest teachers for English courses.
Her approach to mindfulness is deeply rooted in her Hue family traditions, 15 years of experience supporting disadvantaged communities affected by war in Central Vietnam and mentoring local youth leaders.
In her everyday life, she enjoys gardening, drawing parallels between nurturing plants and teaching mindfulness—both are about sowing seeds and feeling the joy of watching them grow.
