Mission
Vision
We live our lives as ecosystems where people experience greater well-being, sustained resilience and genuine connectedness through cultivating mindful attention, warm curiosity, and compassion.
Key Areas
- Professional Training: Implement the Oxford-developed mindfulness program, tailored both general public and workplaces
- Community: Introduce realistic and easy-to-apply mindful activities that can naturally integrate into community events, making mindfulness accessible and enjoyable
- Collaboration: Build a professional network of mindfulness teachers and contributing to cross-cultural research in Vietnam and beyond
Values
- Competence: We deliver mindfulness programs with skill, care, and real-world experience.
- Integrity & Relavance: While we honor the contemplative traditions, our chosen mindfulness approaches are secular, research-backed, and designed for safe, relevant to everyday settings.
- Respect: We honor individual differences, diverse values, and the dignity of every participant, always mindful of trauma and cultural contexts.
- Inclusivity: We aim to making mindfulness safe, inclusive, and accessible, particularly for disadvantaged and vulnerable communities in Vietnam.
- Authenticity: We integrate warm attention, appreciative joy, and genuine care into our work and daily life—living the change we wish to see in ourselves and others.
Who we are
Founded by Nhi Pham, Applied Mindfulness Vietnam (AMVN) is a small but dedicated company committed to cultivating a culture of presence, compassion, and resilience. We view mindfulness not as a quick fix, but as a lifelong skill. When practised with care, integrity, and context-relevance, mindfulness can unlock the potential to transform the quality of our mental health, wellbeing, and relationship. Science supports this, and so do our lived experiences.
Based in Hue, we are delighted to have a small yet diverse team of both Vietnamese and international members. This unique blend of perspectives enables us to design and implement mindfulness initiatives in both public and workplace settings.
