Course overview
(MBCT-L) blends mindfulness meditation practices with principles from cognitive therapy for general public.
Also known as MBCT-L, this program is an adaptation of MBCT, developed in light of research from Oxford University and other globally renowned institutions.
MBCT_L is not therapy, counseling, or coaching.
It is a skills-based, in-depth educational program designed to foster lasting change and help you integrate mindfulness into your daily life.
Through a step-by-step learning process, this course helps you build foundational skills to recognize unhelpful thought and behavior patterns, break free from autopilot, and find moments of appreciation even in difficult times.

Practicing secular meditations or cognitive exercises might feel unfamiliar or even uncomfortable at first. That is not uncommon! It’s always helpful to keep an open heart and mind.
There may be moments when you feel like giving up—that’s completely normal. A little patience and self-kindness go a long way.You might feel disappointed not seeing change quickly. That’s understandable. But it’s worth remembering that like learning a new language, it takes time and repetition for the practices to reveal their full potential.
You might become more aware of thoughts or emotions you’d rather avoid. This course will help you develop the skills to navigate them safely and skillfully. As the course goes on, the amount of mindfulness practice might feel a bit overwhelming—but well, but life keeps moving too! The good news is that with a variety of practices and skills, you’ll have plenty of tools to handle whatever comes your way, one moment at a time.
Last but not least, your teachers are around to support you, and other peers are with you along this learning journey. You’re not alone!
